This 3 piece rock juggernaught has been tearing up the local music scene in Phoenix since 2000. Armed with catchy melodies and "sing- a-long" choruses, this ambitious trio is set for stardom. Like a kiss on the lips from a Mike Tyson right cross, this band hits hard; yet is as cozy as a bed of marshmallows.
GOODER was born through the integration of Scott Gavin’s coffee shop rock, with Brad Nelson’s high flying heavy metal basement grooves. Formed in late 1999, the ambitious rockers brought in shred guru Chris Kantor to round out the trio. The three shared a passion for loud jams and began writing the songs that laid the foundation for their success of the past decade.
In 2000, Gooder hit the Tempe music scene at the infamous GREEN ROOM and instantly became a force to be reckoned with. Their high energy live show and enormous stage presence set them apart from other local artists. Since then, they have rocked every notable venue in the valley .
Late in 2007, GOODER released their first full length recording. The self titled album represents years of hard work and refinement on some classic original tunes. The disk exemplifies what this band has been about from day 1. High energy, fun, simple rock that gets your body rockin and your toes tappin. The band is currently working to get back into the studio for a follow up album...
GOODER’s timeless modern rock has persevered through numerous fads, and continues to stand out amongst local artists in the valley. Please stay tuned for more info on the band, and keep your eyes and ears open for new material hitting the airwaves shortly....
